ACCOUNT
Create an account and save your details
Select “Start Free” below to open the FTVPN account creation page in the user dashboard. Enter a username and password, then follow the on-screen instructions. FTVPN doesn't require an email address; you can create an account with a username and password. Choose a username that's easy to remember but doesn't reveal personal information. Use a unique password and save it in a trusted password manager.
When you're done, make sure you've reached the account area rather than remaining on the login form. Your plans, orders, subscriptions, and client downloads are all in the same dashboard, so you don't need to create a separate account for each device. To use FTVPN on another device, sign in with the same account, get the client, and import your subscription there.
An “account” and a “subscription” are different things. Your account lets you sign in and manage orders; your subscription provides route settings to the client. Saving your username and password doesn't establish a connection. Finish this step before choosing a plan. If you already have an account, sign in and continue to the next step.
PLAN
Choose a plan and confirm your order
Open the plans section in the user dashboard and choose between a monthly subscription and a data package based on how often you use the service. If you regularly use work, web, or streaming services, choose a monthly plan with a suitable data allowance. If you only need access while traveling or for occasional tasks, compare the data packages. Creating an account doesn't activate a plan; before connecting, confirm that your plan is active and has data available.
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not necessarily on the first day of the calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Review the upgrade details shown in the dashboard before proceeding; an upgrade doesn't start a new full billing period.
Data packages include ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. They don't expire and can be used until the data runs out. Unlike monthly plans, their data doesn't reset each month, so compare the total allowance with how often you expect to use the service. All plans support unlimited devices, but that doesn't mean unlimited data; usage still counts toward your plan's allowance.
Once you've chosen a plan, check the price, data allowance, and billing terms in your order. Choose Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT, then follow the checkout instructions. Return to the dashboard and check your order status and account overview to confirm the plan has been updated before getting your subscription. If the payment status hasn't updated yet, check the existing order to avoid submitting it again. FTVPN offers a 30-day refund policy. See the Refund Policy for details.
SUBSCRIPTION
Get your subscription link from the dashboard
Once your plan is active, open Account Overview in the user dashboard and check the plan name, available data, and status. Then find the subscription section and look for an option to import directly into a client or copy the subscription link. If you've already installed a client, try importing from the dashboard first. Otherwise, get the client in the next section, then return here to import your subscription.
The subscription link provides route settings to your client; it's not a regular webpage bookmark. Use the dashboard's copy button to avoid missing any part of the link or its parameters. Don't copy the Account Overview page URL into your client, and don't use an order number or password as subscription data—they can't replace the subscription link.
The link may contain account-related access information, so don't post it in public chats, comments, or screenshots. The example below is for illustration only and won't connect. Use only the link obtained after signing in to your own dashboard. This page doesn't provide a real subscription address.
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
If the pasted link looks different from the one shown in the dashboard, check your clipboard and copy it again. You don't need to keep the link in a regular notes app after importing it. For subscription updates, handling a leaked link, and configuration management, see the Beginner to Advanced User Guide after your first connection. For now, continue with the import steps.
CLIENT
Import your subscription on your device
The client reads your subscription, lets you choose a route, and starts the connection. FTVPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux; the steps below cover first-time setup on common devices. Download the client from the user dashboard, not from search results for similarly named apps. You can download the client after signing in on all platforms except iOS, without purchasing a plan. Getting the client and getting a usable subscription are separate steps.
Sign in to the client section of the user dashboard and choose the FTVPN client for your operating system. If the page offers options for different systems or processor types, check your device settings to choose the right one. Install and open the client, then return to the dashboard to import your subscription. This helps your system find the right app to handle the import.
Windows: Import into the desktop client
Get the FTVPN client for Windows from the dashboard, follow the installer, and launch the app. Return to the subscription section and use the dashboard's import option. If your browser asks whether to open the client, check the app name before continuing. Switch back to the client and confirm that a subscription or configuration has been added and that the route list is visible.
If the browser doesn't open the app, import manually. Copy the subscription link, then find “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or an option to add one in the client. Choose the option to add by link, paste it, save, and update. You can name the configuration FTVPN to make it easy to recognize. Once the routes appear, set this configuration as the active one. If you only add it to the list without selecting it, the connect button may still use another configuration.
macOS: Install the client and add your configuration
Get the FTVPN desktop client for your Mac from the user dashboard, follow the installation instructions, and open it from Applications. If macOS displays a permission prompt on first launch, check the app's source and the prompt details before approving anything. Don't change system settings unrelated to this connection just to complete the installation.
Return to the dashboard and use its import option, or choose the link import option in the client's subscription or configuration section. Paste the link, save, and update. Confirm that the routes appear, then select this configuration. The main window and menu bar may show different information: the menu bar is usually for quick status changes, so check the client's configuration section to confirm the import worked. If the import option doesn't respond, add the link manually instead of reinstalling the app.
Android: Add a subscription and allow the connection
Sign in to the dashboard to get the FTVPN client for Android, then install it by following your device's prompts. If Android asks you to allow installation from the current download source, make sure the file came from the FTVPN user dashboard before deciding whether to allow it. Open the client and return to the dashboard to import your subscription. If the webpage doesn't open the app, copy the link and add it manually in the client's subscription or configuration section.
Save the subscription, update it, and check that the route list appears. The first time you connect, Android may display a VPN connection request. This is the system asking to let the client establish a connection; it isn't asking you to enter your subscription details again. Confirm the request only after checking that it comes from the client you just installed. If the connection status changes after you leave the app, check whether the client is still running, then review your system's background and battery settings. Change one setting at a time so you can identify the cause.
iOS: Open the App Store through the dashboard
The iOS client is accessed differently from clients on other platforms. The dashboard provides a working App Store link only if you have a purchased, unexpired plan. Check your plan status in Account Overview, then open the client section and follow the instructions to get the FTVPN client for iOS. If the dashboard says you need an active plan, resolve the plan status rather than looking for another download link.
Once the client is installed and open, return to the dashboard and use the subscription import option. If the app doesn't open automatically, find the option to add a subscription or configuration in the client, paste the link copied from the dashboard, and update it. When you connect, follow the iOS prompt to allow the VPN configuration; you may need to unlock your device to confirm. Then return to the client and check the connection status. Allowing the configuration doesn't mean a route is connected, so continue to the next section to verify access.
CONNECT & CHECK
Connect to a route and verify it works
Return to the client and confirm that the FTVPN subscription you just imported is selected and the route list has loaded. Choose a route in the region required by the service you want to use, then connect. For your first session, keep the client's default connection settings. Changing routes and rules at the same time can make it harder to tell what affected the result.
First, check that the client shows a connected status, then confirm that your device's system settings show the connection too. Next, open the website or app you actually need and try a normal action, such as loading a page, opening a workspace, or submitting a routine request. A connected status only indicates that the connection process has started or been established; the real test is whether the service works as expected.
If regular websites load but an AI tool or streaming service still reports a region, account, or permission issue, read the service's message first. A network connection can't replace eligibility for a third-party account, and not every route is suitable for every service. Switch to a region that meets the service's requirements, reload the page or restart the app, and check again. For tips on choosing a route, see the Routes page.
If none of your target services are accessible, check the following in order: confirm your plan is active and has data available; make sure the subscription updated successfully and the right configuration is selected; then try another route. Check whether other proxy tools are running on your device and, if needed, pause them before trying again. Change one setting at a time and check the result. This makes troubleshooting easier than repeatedly reinstalling the app.
If the issue persists, open a support ticket in the user dashboard. Include your device's operating system, the error shown in the client, the selected region, and the steps you've already tried. Hide your subscription link and sensitive account details in screenshots. Once access works, keep an eye on your plan's data, status, and subscription updates.
