Popular regions and route selection tips

Start with the region your service requires, then compare how each route performs in practice. Coverage does not mean every route works with every website.

FTVPN offers international routes in 120+ countries across 160+ lines. Everyday browsing, remote collaboration, AI chats, and video streaming place different demands on a connection: web browsing depends on response time, long conversations need a sustained connection, and video playback calls for checking buffering. Test routes with the apps you actually use rather than choosing based only on country names or distance. The table below is an overview of popular regions. Route types and support for specific apps are shown in the user panel and client.

Test during the hours you usually use the service; this is more useful than opening a webpage only when traffic is light. Keep your local network and target app consistent while switching routes, then compare page load times, response times, and video buffering. If every region performs poorly, check your local connection and subscription status first. If only one app has issues, check its service region, account requirements, and client rules. Route status below is for reference; actual performance depends on your local connection and the service you’re using.

Peak-hour connections and reliability

You can only assess peak-hour reliability during the hours you actually use the service; one quick page load is not enough. FTVPN offers routes across regions, so you can compare alternatives in the client if congestion occurs. Keep your local network unchanged while testing with a video you watch, a collaboration page you use, or a sustained conversation. If connections drop frequently, update your subscription and check client settings before trying another route. The goal is a reliable connection on your current network, not an impressive one-off speed test. Actual performance depends on your connection.

Check the service terms to see if it’s right for you

When comparing subscription services, start by checking whether the price comes with a clearly stated data allowance, how data resets, and how device limits are counted. Then check how to get the client and contact support. FTVPN provides plans, subscriptions, clients, and support tickets in the user panel; the marketing pages explain the rules, while your account details are shown in the panel. This makes it easier to identify whether an issue concerns an order, subscription, device, or destination app.

You don’t need to learn every technical term to get started. Follow the Getting Started Guide to create an account, choose a plan, get your subscription, and import it into a client. Read the full manual later if you need help understanding split tunneling, updates, or troubleshooting. For routine use, keep your subscription link secure, monitor remaining data, and follow a troubleshooting sequence when an app has issues to avoid unnecessary configuration changes.

Monthly plans and data packs

Choose a monthly plan for regular use or a data pack for occasional access. Devices are unlimited; choose based on total usage.

Monthly plans include a defined data allowance and suit people who use cross-border access as part of their regular work or entertainment. Estimate your combined use for browsing, AI chats, video streaming, and file transfers before choosing an allowance. Light users don’t need a higher tier just because they have multiple devices, while frequent streaming or transfers call for keeping an eye on actual usage. Apps vary widely in their data use, so use the records in the user panel to guide your choice rather than estimating a fixed amount from viewing time.

Monthly data resets on your activation date, not on the first day of each calendar month. Mid-cycle upgrades are prorated for the remaining days. Check your order and subscription status in the user panel before changing plans.

Pay with Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. When choosing a plan, check the price, data allowance, and billing method together. After payment, check the order status and get your subscription from the user panel. If an order status doesn’t match what you expected, open a support ticket from the panel rather than submitting the same order again. The plans page lists full pricing so you can compare the options before choosing.

FT / QUICK ANSWERS

Account and connection FAQs

Before you start, check your account details, data rules, and where to get the client.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details safe and use a unique password for FTVPN. Your client subscription and login password serve different purposes; don’t share your subscription link publicly as if it were an ordinary URL. Once your account is created, use the user panel to view plans, client downloads, and support tickets. Service access depends on the subscription status shown in your account.

Can I connect on a computer and mobile device at the same time?

FTVPN allows unlimited simultaneous devices and supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Install a client and import the subscription separately on each device. Unlimited devices is a device policy, not a promise of unlimited data; consider combined usage across your devices when choosing an allowance. If one device can’t connect, check whether its subscription is up to date, then compare its settings with your other devices.

How is data calculated for monthly plans and data packs?

Monthly plan data resets on your activation date; data packs are used until depleted and never expire. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Choose a monthly plan based on regular usage, or compare data packs for occasional use. Mid-cycle upgrades are prorated for the remaining days; review the confirmation details in the user panel before making changes.

Where can I get the client and subscription?

Get clients from the client downloads section in the user panel. After signing in, check your subscription based on your account status. Clients for Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux are available after login; the iOS client requires an active plan. Getting a client and activating a network subscription are separate steps. After installation, import your subscription and choose a route. Follow the Getting Started Guide for your first setup, and don’t copy configuration from unknown sites.

Can I request a refund if the routes don’t work well on my network?

FTVPN offers a 30-day refund policy. See the Refund Policy for details. Submit a request through a support ticket in the user panel with your order details and the reason for your request. Never include your account password or full subscription link. If you’d like help troubleshooting first, include your device platform, the affected app, any error message, and the circumstances so the issue can be narrowed down to your local network, client settings, or the destination service.
